Regathering 2.0!

Here's good news: We had a total of 13 to attend our regathering service at "For the Kingdom Conference Center" in Raleigh on July 11. Karen and Cleo welcomed everyone back with song and opening prayer. On behalf of Community of Faith Gary then presented Mrs. Leigh Sniffen with a flower arrangement and shawl in memory of Brother Paul. Gary mentioned how helpful Paul was in leading a Men's Ministry here.

Gary started Victory Expression and Intercessory Prayer including everything from prayer requests to various experiences of God's deliverance from Covid-19 to meeting new family members, updates of former members who stay in touch, even a contact of a long time member who saw our GCI-Memphis website and is planning on attending with us.

It was also announced that with the loss of Bro. Paul the Pastoral Team of COF has been restructured. With the approval of our Regional Pastor Michael Rassmussen, the team will consist of Robert, Cleo, Anderson, and Gary. Of course the wives are an important part of this as well: Monica, Melvie, Barbara, and Sherry. The congregation thanked Leigh, who will continue to serve as treasurer, along with Bro. Paul for serving as Pastoral Leaders the last several years.

Some come join us at the Kingdom center on July 18 at 10:30 AM. The address is 4100 Raleigh Millington Road just North of St. Elmo street whose sign is hard to miss on the right.

We plan to start at 10:30 AM with hymns and special music. Come along and bring a friend. Masks welcome but not required, social distancing still followed.
