‘Everything Jelled’ at Back to School Fundraiser

Saturday August 18 Community of Faith teamed up with St. Timothy United Methodist Church at Ramill and Elmo to host a Back to School Fundraiser for Raleigh Egypt Elementary School.

Pastor Russell Murrow of St. Timothy rounded up 8-10 energetic students from Visible Music College in downtown Memphis to host and set up.

At least 42 adults, teens and wee kids showed up for Bouncy Castle, hot dogs and a great talk on Music and Learning from African Elder Ekpe who kept us all entertained.

“Everything jelled,” said Elder Cleo Henderson of this first combined out-reach activity Pastors Paul and Leigh Sniffen have been hoping for.
